Ryan Bookout completed his BA in Chemistry at Wake Forest University and his PharmD. at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He also completed Pharmacy Practice and Oncology Specialty residencies at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center and became a board-certified oncology pharmacist in 2006. Currently, Dr. Bookout is the Blood and Marrow Transplantation & Cellular Immunotherapy Pharmacy Supervisor at the Moffitt Cancer Center. Dr. Bookout also serves on the Moffitt Cancer Center Protocol Review Committee and University of South Florida Institutional Review Board. Dr. Bookout has been an active HOPA member for more than fifteen years serving on several committees and task forces and on the HOPA Board as both an At-Large Board Member and Past President. He is also an active member in other professional pharmacy organizations. Dr. Bookout has served as Residency Director at the Moffitt Cancer Center and continues to train residents and students at the University of South Florida Taneja College of Pharmacy. His clinical research interests focus on transplantation and hematologic malignancies.
