Robert J. Ignoffo, PharmD FASHP FCSHP FHOPA is an Emeritus Professor at both the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) and Touro University  He received his PharmD in 1971 and did a one year-clinical practice residency at UCSF in 1972. He was a faculty member at UCSF School of Pharmacy for 34 years.  He served as the primary oncology pharmacy preceptor teaching over a 1000 students at UCSF.  From 2006-2015, he joined the Touro School of Pharmacy faculty and was the Assistant Dean of Students from 2011-15. 

In 2013 he received the Excellence in Oncology Pharmacy Award from the Hematology Oncology Pharmacist Association

In 2014 he was received the Pharmacist of the Year award from the California Society of Health System Pharmacists

Dr. Ignoffo has served on numerous committees for ASHP, CSHP, and HOPA. He led a HOPA Task Force given the charge of providing a research framework for studying the Value of Oncology Pharmacist.  He currently serves as the Chair of the HOPA Practice Outcomes and Professional Benchmarking Committee.
