Amy Seung is the Senior Medical Director for Pharmacy Times Continuing Education, where she focuses on the development of oncology programs. Previously, she was the Senior Director of Clinical Development at AssistRx, where she led clinical strategy for a medication management platform. Dr. Seung initially practiced at Johns Hopkins Hospital as the Oncology Clinical Decision Support and Hematologic Malignancies Pharmacy Clinical Specialist and also served as Director of the PGY2 Oncology Pharmacy Residency Program.
Dr. Seung received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed her Pharmacy Practice and Oncology Specialty Residencies at the University of Washington Medical Center and Seattle Cancer Care Alliance in Seattle, Washington.
Dr. Seung has been supporting HOPA for many years in a variety of leadership and member roles within committees and task forces. She is HOPA’s representative to the ASCO CancerLinQ Oncology Leadership Council. She has authored multiple oncology articles and oncology pharmacotherapy book chapters and spoken nationally on leukemias, oncology medication, specialty pharmacy, and digital technology topics.
