Andrea Ledford currently serves as the Oncology Pharmacy Manager at the Orlando Health Cancer Center in Orlando, Florida with more than 20 years of oncology practice and management experience. Responsibilities include financial and operational oversight for multiple cancer center locations, clinical pharmacy services, investigational drug service, PGY2 oncology residency program, and the patient assistance program for adult inpatient and outpatient oncology patients.

Dr Ledford completed a BS Pharmaceutical Science and PharmD from Virginia Commonwealth University, and a Masters of Business Administration. She is board-certified in Oncology Pharmacy and in Sterile Compounding. She developed a PGY2 oncology residency at Orlando Health and serves as PGY2 Oncology Surveyor for ASHP. Dr. Ledford has volunteered with HOPA on the Standards, Research Abstract Working Group, Industry Relations Committee, and served as a speaker.

Research interests include operational efficiency and quality performance improvements to improve patient care, throughput initiatives, and expansion of pharmacy services. She actively participates at the state level, advocating for pharmacist collaborative practice and to improve patient access to care.
