Ashley E. Glode currently serves as a Health Systems Oncology Medical Affairs Director at Merck. After earning her PharmD from Duquesne University in 2007, she went on to complete 2 residencies; a PGY-1 at Yale-New Haven Hospital and a PGY-2 Oncology at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. From 2009-2014 she was the Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in Hematology and Stem Cell Transplantation and PGY-2 Oncology Residency Program Director at the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Glode then transitioned into academia and was an Associate Professor at the University of Colorado Skaggs School Pharmacy from 2014-2021. During her appointment, she practiced in the Phase I/GI/Head and Neck/Sarcoma Multidisciplinary Clinic, and precepted numerous trainees in this clinic. In addition, Dr. Glode taught courses on oncology pharmacotherapy and medical cannabis. She has multiple book chapters and journal publications and has been an invited speaker at local, regional and national meetings. She served on HOPA’s Publication Committee for nearly 10 years and received HOPA’s Patient Advocacy Award in 2019.
