Dr. Michaud received her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Kansas, completed Pharmacy Practice and Oncology Pharmacy Residencies at the Denver VA Medical Center and the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, respectively.
Since completion of her training, Dr. Michaud has practiced at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, establishing clinical pharmacy services in breast cancer, managing and developing clinical pharmacy services on the Breast Medical Oncology, Melanoma/Sarcoma Medical Oncology, and Phase I/Investigational Cancer Therapeutics, and currently is Associate Director, Pharmacy Quality and Regulatory. Dr. Michaud also holds an appointment as Division Patient Safety Quality Officer for the Division of Pharmacy.
She is Board Certified in Oncology Pharmacy, is a fellow of the American Society of Health-Systems Pharmacists and holds a Certification in Medical Quality. She has authored numerous publications/presentations and participated in the development of numerous guidelines in the areas of breast cancer and general supportive care. She is an active member and past Board Member-at-Large of HOPA and served on a variety of committees and task forces.
