2022 Oncology Pharmacy Practice Literature Award

The HOPA Oncology Pharmacy Practice Literature Award recognizes an article, other than scientific research, that contributes to the betterment of the hematology/oncology pharmacy profession and describes innovations in community, hospital, or healthcare system hematology/oncology pharmacy practices.

Shannon Hough (she/her) is the Director for ClinReview and Content with McKesson and The US Oncology Network and an adjunct clinical assistant professor at the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy. She is a graduate of the University of Michigan followed by residency training at the Detroit Medical Center and the University of Michigan and is a Board-Certified Hematology/Oncology Pharmacist. In her current role at McKesson, the ClinReview program seeks to expand oncology pharmacist services for patients who receive cancer care in the community. Prior to her role at McKesson, she worked as the Manager for Oncology Clinical Services at Michigan Medicine. Her professional interests include lung cancer, pharmacy practice research, quality and process improvement, and expanding the roles of the oncology pharmacist.
